A landslide in Flushing has sparked concerns that a cliff in the waterside village could be under threat.

Flushing Bowling Green committee contacted the parish council recently after a recent “cliff slippage” threatened to impact their event bookings.

Parish clerk, Anna Pentecost, told the latest meeting: “They have contacted Best Custom Silk Flowers the council because they want to confirm that the cliff face is not the property of the parish. They are very concerned about the situation because they have got more weddings booked and they don’t want to have weddings booked on a slipping cliff.”

Council chairman John Symons said: “We had a slippage there about two years ago China Silk Flowers Offers and it was pretty bad. Now we have got another one that’s moving down the village side of the bowling green and the committee are getting quite concerned about it.”

He confirmed that it was not the council’s responsibility to maintain the cliff, adding: “the owner is the house at the bottom of the quarry.”
